Walknote

From walk to report

One walk in. One report out.

What Walknote does with your photos and voice, step by step, from the site visit to a signed report.

  1. 01

Pick the site and the form

Start from one of eight templates, or repeat your last visit at the same site.

  2. 02

    Walk and talk

Switch area with a tap. Shoot in the app, talk as you walk, and hold to speak about one photo. No signal? An outbox holds everything and shows what is unsent.

  3. 03

    Hear it back

Each thing you said becomes a card: your words, the audio and the item. Fix the item or the sentence before you sign.

  4. 04

    Photos find their notes

A photo taken as you describe something joins that note. If Walknote is unsure, the photo waits in a “needs a link” queue for you.

  5. 05

    Read the draft

Each sentence has a chip that opens the clip and the photo behind it. Anything you did not mention reads exactly: Not recorded.

  6. 06

    Approve, sign, send

The report is frozen, fingerprinted and signed. You get a PDF, a lite PDF for WhatsApp, a link and a QR code.

Before you read the draft

Every sentence goes through fixed checks.

Fixed rules test each sentence against your own words. A sentence that fails is replaced by your own wording and flagged for you.

Photos never create claims

A photo is evidence. It is not a finding.

A photo of a stained ceiling adds nothing to the report unless you said something about it. It stays attached as evidence and is marked “no note recorded”. Walknote AI is never asked to find damp or cracks in a picture. It only checks whether a photo fits a note you spoke, and it writes nothing from the picture.

Made for the field

Made for your phone, your signal and your power.

  • Patchy signal

Photos are shrunk on the phone, so they send fast on a weak connection. Everything is saved on the phone first and sends when signal returns. Each file is fingerprinted on the phone and checked again on the server.

  • Screen on while you record

Walknote keeps the screen awake while you record and warns you if recording pauses.

  • Names and numbers

Walknote AI writes names and numbers as it hears them, and shows each number beside the words you said. A note it is unsure of is flagged, and you confirm it before you can sign.

Questions

Field teams ask these most.

Type a note instead. A typed note goes through exactly the same checks as a spoken one.

Import the photos and voice memos. Walknote places each photo by its time. A photo it is unsure about waits for you to confirm.

Import the video. Frames become photos on the clip's timeline and the sound becomes the voice recording, with the same checks as anything captured live.

Sung or background speech is marked as not the inspector's. Its text is not stored and it can never become a finding.

The outbox keeps everything on the phone and sends it by itself when a connection returns. A file that fails to send is tried again.

Yes, as a new version. The old one stays checkable and is marked superseded, so nobody can pass an edit off as the original.
