Inspections get argued over months later by people who were not there. Walknote keeps the originals, the times and every edit in a form anyone can check.
A fingerprint for every file.
The phone computes a SHA-256 fingerprint of each photo and clip before it leaves the handset. The server computes it again on arrival. If they differ, the file is flagged. Phone time and server time are both kept, so a wrong phone clock shows instead of hiding.

FAQ
Questions field teams ask before they switch.
It is built not to. Each sentence must point to your own words, and fixed checks and a second reader test every defect, degree, place and number in it against them. Photos never create findings. A sentence that fails is replaced by a plain restatement of your note and flagged for you. Some invented claims can still get through in our tests, and the results page lists which ones.
They print as Not recorded. Silence is never turned into a pass. Before you approve, Walknote lists every Not recorded item so you can add a note or leave it.
Capture needs neither. Photos, voice and notes are saved on the phone and sent when a connection returns, and a file that fails to send is tried again by itself. Review the draft on the phone before you leave, or finish at your desk: everything waits safely until you do.
Walknote AI keeps Nigerian English, Pidgin and local words as you say them. It does not correct or translate them. You read what it heard on the review screen, and you can fix a note or a sentence before you sign.
Only people you invite and anyone you send a link to. The writing step runs on cloud servers outside Nigeria, a disclosed transfer under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and its 2025 directive. Our privacy notice names the provider and explains both.
